Having your say in the People’s Choice Awards is open to all, but voting closes on October 9.
The main Gregory Awards voting is limited to members of Theatre Puget Sound (see perks and info here), and nominations go through an elaborate process (more on that here). But the annual People’s Choice Awards presented across several categories are, as the name suggests, awards from the people. They’re also awarded as part of the Gregory Awards. And they’re a big deal.
You can nominate and vote for any theatre artist in any TPS-eligible show (virtually all of them with runs over a week) that ran between August 2018 and July 2019. And if you have some favorites in mind, you should act soon — it closes on Wednesday, October 9. Don’t delay!
The good news is that procrastination has its perks — the main one of which is TPS tends to drop a few hints about who’s top in the running on the Gregory Awards Facebook page. If one of them is a favorite, voting for them can pull them ahead.
Or vote for an underdog. The choice is all yours. Just VOTE.
